Permanent Routes

Permanents are routes which are available for RUSA credit without scheduling a brevet. They are now maintained and validated by RUSA directly.

Back when permanents were individually owned and operated (so to speak), I developed the route below. It has not been reviewed in at least a decade, so please do not use the routes below for wayfinding. They are presented here for historical interest and inspiration alone.

Perm #2337 Running of the Bulls 104K

Reversable point-to-point permanent populaire route of 104K from NE Portland’s Woodlawn neighborhood, to Troutdale (via Marine Drive), the steep hills of Bull Run, Marmot Rd, Dodge Park, following the Sandy River back to Troutdale, and finishing in the Parkrose neighborhood of NE Portland.
